How long does it take to set up?
About 60 seconds once you've done it once. The poles are linked by a bungee cord, so they click together without any tools, and nothing gets lost.
How much space do I need?
The net is 6 ft wide, about the width of a three-seat sofa. Give yourself that much floor plus a few steps on each side to move. Most living rooms, garages and office break rooms have plenty.
How do I store or travel with it?
It folds down into the included 23" carry bag. Keep it in a closet, toss it in the car, or take it to the park or beach.
Is this a full-size pickleball net?
No. PocketPaddle is a 6 ft mini net, while a regulation net is 22 ft wide. It's made for dinking, drops, soft-game practice and casual games at home, not tournament play.
Will it damage my floors?
The frame stands on its own feet, with no stakes and nothing to screw in. On hardwood, playing on a mat or rug keeps it quiet and scuff-free.
Is it loud indoors?
Standard pickleballs are hard plastic, so indoor rallies make some noise. For apartments or late-night games, switch to foam practice balls. They're slower and much quieter.
Can I use it outside?
Yes. It works indoors and outdoors: driveway, patio, backyard. Bring it in when you're done so it lasts longer.
